Timothy W. Tapply has litigation experience in civil insurance defense
and in the military criminal arena.
Prior to joining Brand & Associates, Mr. Tapply was an associate in the
litigation department of Morrison Mahoney, LLP, in Boston, Massachusetts
where he handled all aspects of nursing home defense litigation. Mr. Tapply
also held the rank of Captain in the United States Marine Corps where he
served as Defense Counsel and Senior Defense Counsel in San Diego,
California. Mr. Tapply defended numerous misdemeanor and high-level felony
cases. In 2005, Mr. Tapply was awarded the Western Region Marine Corps
Defense Counsel of the year.
Mr. Tapply received his bachelor’s degree from St. Lawrence University in
1997 and graduated from Albany Law School, cum laude, in 2001. Mr. Tapply
was runner-up in the Albany Law School Senior Prize Trials Competition and a
member of the Albany Law School ATLA Trial Team. He was also the founder and
president of the Albany Law School Veteran’s Remembrance Organization.
Mr. Tapply is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and New York and is
also admitted to the bar of the United States District Court for the
District of Massachusetts. |
